Gil Jorgensen, part owner, is the Vice President of Freedom Millwork’s custom millwork division, where he oversees the custom millwork shop, managing schedules, designing, selecting fabrication methods and materials, and coordinating closely with designers and outside sales teams. He also collaborates directly with clients to craft custom cabinetry and millwork solutions tailored to their needs.

We opened our doors at Freedom Millwork in 2014 and have just celebrated our 10th anniversary. We are unique in that we are one of the few pure-play millwork companies in the Philadelphia area. In addition to custom cabinetry, we are the largest single-store Marvin dealer in the area; we hang our own interior doors, sell exterior door and hardware, we design and sell semi-custom kitchens, and we are one of only 200 stocking dealers in the US for Farrow & Ball paint.

We have primarily been a residential millwork supplier. We partner with builders, remodelers, designers and architects and homeowners to provide them with custom and stock millwork for their projects. Our custom capabilities have grown and are a large part of our ability to service our customers’ needs.

With the completion of our new showroom and a more pronounced social media presence we decided to rebrand our physical space to make ourselves more relatable to consumers. This became 6209 Design, The Inspiration Gallery of Freedom Millwork.  We are proud of our showroom and what we have accomplished in 10 short years.

Speaker: John Burke, Company President, will be speaking on interior door operation.

We have been looking forward to hosting this AWI meeting and explaining our processesThe
